This is my own garden in front of my studio, which has been sown with wildflower seeds. The flowering plants and grasses are indigenous to the locality in the Cotswolds, but there's a few other random species that have sneaked in there too. At the time of year when this was painted, mainly it's a riot of pink oregano, white and yellow ox-eye daisies, red clover, creamy white meadow sweet, yellow St James-wort and a few blue cornflowers. And of course, all manner of greens.
