This is an interpretation of dazzling photo sent to me by my author friend Rhiannon Tsang Jenkins, who walks in these woods most days. Bunny Wood is a remnant of ancient woodland, now in the safe hands of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
I had been looking at painting I saw in the Musee D'Orsay, by Olidon Redon called 'Trees on a Yellow Background', I loved the scintillating effect Redon had created and wanted to achieve something similar to do justice to this lovely image. I have made several short videos which are on my youtube channel, so you can follow my progress as I work on this pierce.
